I almost used the theme "What is this?" instead of "coiled", because it could fit either. Anyone know what this is?

Day 54 (Day 170) Burgandy
Burgundy
I hope the color comes out right for everyone. My computer monitors tend to fool me sometimes. But you are going to have to trust me that these are burgundy! These chairs are lined up neatly inside my office. Why? I don't know. When we moved our offices to this new space, my boss seemed to think I would need them. I rarely have enough people in my office at once to fill them all. There is one more of these chairs right in front of my desk that he always sits at when he comes in to chat. But I guess my office is big enough to house them, so there they sit.

Taken with my point and shoot (Canon SD 890 IS) and I took it quickly. I didn't want to look like a dork taking a picture of my food! Oops! Too late! I am a dork! Ha ha!
This was at iPod (that is IHOP for those of you that do not speak my son's language), and it was yummy! Blueberry Harvest Nut 'n Grain Pancakes with bananas on top, along with egg beaters. I also topped the pancakes with sugar free syrup. Yes, they have it - you just have to ask! I know this may not sound appetizing to most, but to me it was very good!

Day 50 (Day 166) Barn
Barn
A friend of mine told me about this barn, and I just had to find it, and use it for my barn theme. I love the quilt pattern painted on it!
I thought it looked too pristine, so I used a couple of textures, and added a yellow layer to give it a more aged look. There was also a basketball hoop in the picture that I used the clone tool to remove.

We have seen a lot of different critters visit our backyard through the years. But because our yard is fenced, we don't usually see too many animals bigger than a squirrel make it inside. But somehow this little possum burrowed under our privacy fence, and found some things to nibble on.
Nasty little things, but somehow he has a cuteness about him too!

On Saturday, we celebrated a little one's first birthday. She is the daughter of some dear friends of ours, and she is only five weeks younger than our Allie. There was a zebra theme, and it was so cute! I was very impressed with the cake - I know this is something I am not capable of, although I would love to learn how to do it someday!
