Ok, another boring grout picture.  This is what it looked like after it dried.  Wooooow, right?  Sorry, but I didn't take any other picture yesterday.  I promise this weekend's pictures will be more exciting!

Our new office is still under construction.  We were having a tough time picking out grout color for our bathroom/breakroom tile!  But I think we have made a decision now!

After these dried, both colors lightened up, and we like the darker one.  We are maybe 2-3 weeks from moving in!  I am excited!

This is my first attempt at photographing the moon. It still needs to be a sharper focus, but I am not sure how to improve that.  I used a tripod for this shot.  I guess I will keep practicing!

I tried taking pictures of the kiddos for one of my photography assignments this week.  I got some great pictures, but none were quite right for the assignment.  So you get a taste of them here!

So, today I started a new diet.  It seems like I am always starting a new diet.  *sigh*  Here is the one I am trying now.  It is a 4-week meal plan, so we shall see if I last that long.

The meal plan has quite a few foods that I am not used to eating.  Some are things I have never eaten before, as well as a few I have never heard of.  What the heck is Lox?  I assume it is a meat.  Fish maybe?

It is nice that it gives you a shopping list for the grocery store.  However, there are quite a few items I cannot find in my store.  There is a substitution list, but those hard to find items are not on it :(  So I am going to make my own substitutions.

During the last week of September, I visited my salon for a regular appointment, and saw that they were putting pink hair extensions in people's hair in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  I wanted to do my part, so I paid my $10 donation, and received this little beauty.  I love it!  It will probably come out in a couple of weeks, so I wanted to make sure to get a picture of it!

I have been wanting to get a macro shot of an insect for quite some time, and when I saw this bee hanging out on our mums, I had to give it a try!  I didn't use a zoom, so this is a cropped image, and I sharpened it a bit in picnik.  I wish I could submit it to my class assignment, but since it is not SOOC, it does not qualify.  Bummer.  This is not the sharpest, or the best angle of the bee, but for my first attempt, I am pretty happy with it!

We had the priviliege of attending the Indianapolis Colts game, where they beat the Chiefs 19-9!  This was taken right after the starting line up was announced, and they were doing a little warm up.

Day 33

On this day, I failed miserably in taking pictures!  The only one a had was when we (Jen & I) were at the spa.  I snapped this one with my phone, while I was waiting for her to finish with her massage.  I was in the relaxation waiting room.

There was this lovely table to sit at, as well as two comfy chairs, which I was sitting in one of them.  There were also candles burning, some soft, calming music playing, a fish tank, and a tray with refreshments.  Mmmmm...wish I was back there now...

I have this nifty little bath seat that I can put Allison into so she can take a bath with big brother.  MJ loves it, because then he can do things like this.

She tolerates it pretty well, as you can see.  But I did put a stop to it after this photo was taken.  Poor girl.  However, I am sure she is going to get him back one day...

I have lots of pictures of the kids today.  But I think I will post those over on our family blog.  So this is the one I will share here.  It is the Southwest Salad at McD's.  I order it with grilled chicken, although you can't see it buried underneath all those delicious tortilla chips.

Every Thursday I take the kids to McD's, because Mike has a weekly round of golf with his buddies that night.  I order the salad, MJ gets nuggets, and he shares a few fries with his sister.  I just love this salad.  For a fast food restaurant, it rocks!  I think it is the dressing that really makes it yummy.  It is Newman's Own Southwest Dressing, and it is not available to buy retail.  Trust me.  Don't waste your time looking for it in the stores or online.  I have already put in the time.  Unless you know someone that works at McD's and is willing to smuggle some out for you, you will just have to order the salad there to enjoy it.  I highly recommend it!

Day 30

Our offices are moving - again!  The space that we will be renting was just a big open room when we originally agreed to take it.  So, the landlord is building this inside to suit us.  Here is my future office.  I am so excited to have a window again!!  We should be moving in the next 30 days!

Ok, so this isn't very interesting.  But it was one of the pictures I took for my online photography class, and they were the only pics I took yesterday!  Michael had a haircut, and I am kicking myself for not taking a picture there!

Friday night we went to a surprise party for a dear friend and co-worker who is turning 60 this week.  She was shocked and touched by all the attention!  Love ya, Nancy!  Happy Birthday!
